Today's Takeout: Seafood Boil from Cleveland-Heath

Cleveland Heath Seafood Boil

The seafood boil from Cleveland Heath features fresh mussels and shrimp.

Across the river in Edwardsville, Cleveland-Heath has been consistently putting out fun and flavorful food, and the summer menu is no exception. Whether you're craving a sandwich, some shared small plates or a tasty entree straight from the sea, you'll find something to love at this neighborhood favorite.

The seafood boil, spotlighting fresh wild-caught shrimp and mussels from Maine, will transport you to a breezy ocean-side shack. True to form, it's also loaded with corn, potatoes, tomatoes and butter; it makes for a hearty and satisfying meal that will take your mind off the sweltering summer heat.

Not in the mood for seafood? Go for the Rensing pork chop, served with Cheddar-jalapeño bread pudding, green beans and a sunny-side-up egg, or the D&M short rib braised in miso. And don't forget dessert – the old-fashioned cherry hand pies are a particular favorite.

Cleveland-Heath is offering its menu for carryout and limited dine-in service.
