Fans of Element should make plans to visit before the end of the month.

The Lafayette Square restaurant has announced it will close its doors after service on Sun., Oct. 28. Element's last dinner service will be on Sat., Oct. 27.

When Element first opened in September 2013, the restaurant featured a somewhat unusual setup: A team of individual chefs worked together to produce a collaborative menu. The restaurant opened with executive chef Brian Hardesty (now of Guerrilla Street Food) at the helm, and has since seen a number of notable names pass through its kitchen, including Josh Charles (now of Honey & Thyme), pastry chef Tyler Davis (now of The Chocolate Pig) and, most recently, Tudor Seserman. 

"We would like to thank the St. Louis community for supporting us these past five years," Seserman said in a release. "It has been very rewarding to serve you. We hope you join us one last time, to say goodbye."
