St. Louis Blues fans can soon feast on brisket mac 'n' cheese while watching this year's Stanley Cup champs take the ice.

Chef Samantha Mitchell has announced that her popular food truck Farmtruk will be the newest local concession at Enterprise Center this season. 

Farmtruk has worked events at the arena in the past, such as the SEC Tournament or Blues watch parties during last year's Stanley Cup run. When a concession spot opened up, the Enterprise Center offered it to Mitchell. She says that with Farmtruk's focus on hyperlocal cuisine, it felt like there was no better way to represent St. Louis. "We feel like it's exactly the move we need to make," she says. 

Mitchell adds that the stadium concession stand operates in a similar fashion to a food truck, with a focus on pumping out a lot of food to a lot of people in a short period of time. "That's exactly what we do," she says. 

Farmtruk will be serving up some items that will be familiar to fans of the truck – particularly their famous brisket mac 'n' cheese. Guests will also be able to get a Missouri grass-fed beef burger with smoked Cheddar and crispy fried onions on a brioche bun; tacos filled with brisket, chicken or mushrooms with avocado cream and pickled onion and jalapeño; or Heartland Nachos, piled high with a house cheese sauce, avocado cream, pickled onion and jalapeño, with the option to add pulled brisket or chicken.

Although this is a new venue for Farmtruk, Mitchell says that she and her team still plan to serve approachable comfort food while representing three words: fresh, local and free-range.

"Why not eat well?" she asks.

The St. Louis Blues home opener is Oct. 2 against the Washington Capitals.
