Friday

Feast's Taste & Toast at Majorette

Sample award-winning wines from across the region paired with dishes from top area restaurants at Feast’s Midwest wine social. Raise a glass to Midwest wine at Taste & Toast, Feast Magazine's wine social. Enjoy free pours from the region's best wineries, food samples from some of the area's best restaurants and live music from DJ Billy Brown. VIP tickets include a happy hour in Majorette's game room featuring full-size pours from Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. and high-end wines from Total Wine & More from 6 to 7pm. This is your chance to meet the winemakers who are crafting our local wines and taking the regional wine industry to the next level. Each ticket comes with a Riedel wine glass, a $30 value! Microfest at The Muny in Forest Park

"This beer tasting festival offers the chance to sample international and craft beers at three different session times over two days. The festival also includes live music, silent auction, food, live brewer and chef demonstrations. Profits from the festival go to Lift For Life Gym." Friday, from 6 to 10pm and Saturday, from 12 to 4pm and 6 to 10pm. Tickets are $52 for general admission and $72 for VIP, available at the door.

StilL 630 Rally Point O Cask Release Party at Planter's House

Come try the second spirit in StilL 630's Rare Release Barrel Series. It's the single-barrel Rally Point rye whiskey finished in the barrel that aged local Big O Ginger Liqueur's 2015 Reserve. Stop by from 4 to 7pm to try the whiskey and the first cocktails made with this special release. Admission is free.

Saturday

Cinco de Mayo on Cherokee Street

St. Louis' biggest and best Cinco de Mayo celebration is held on Cherokee Street each year. The festival includes the People’s Joy Parade, a "one-of-a-kind grassroots menagerie of crepe paper float makers, homemade costume fashionistas, marching bands, gigante puppeteers, art cars, bike brigades, and drag queens" in addition to Libre Wrestling, a mechanical bull and tons of authentic Mexican street fare.

Kentucky Derby with My Uncle Herbie at Tamm Avenue Grill

Tamm Avenue's Kentucky Derby party will feature a Kentucky Hot Brown on special, Mint Julep specials, happy hour bucket prices and of course, the race on TV. Dress in your Derby best and the best-dressed will win free happy hours. From 12pm to close. Admission is free.

Wild Bacon Wine Trail in Hermann

Spend the weekend touring Hermann's best wineries plus some bacon-focused food pairings. Adam Puchta Winery is pairing its Desire with a carmelized onion, bacon and spinach pizza; Bias Winery pairs its Jubilee White with a bacon and spinache quiche. At Dierberg Star Lane Vineyards, try the Chardonnay with a bacon-Cheddar scone. Hermannhof Vineyards pairs its Vidal Blanc with loaded potato and bacon bread, while OakGlenn Winery has a bacon-apple sandwich paired with its blush. Robller is offering Vidal Blanc with a bacon, cheese and chive drop biscuit with bacon-honey butter, and Stone Hill has BLT bruschetta paired with its Rose Montaigne. Hit up any of the seven wineries on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Tickets are $30 per person; call 800.932.8687.

Patio Kickoff Party at Edibles & Essentials

Kick off patio season at Edibles & Essentials with a pig roast and the Kentucky Derby. There will be a special menu available and adult beverages, plus the Derby on TVs and live music from Bill Reiter of The Urge and El Monstero. From 3pm to close. Admission is free.

Derby Day at Sugar Creek Winery

Head to Defiance to celebrate the Kentucky Derby. There will be Mint Juleps, a red carpet and prizes for the best Derby hats. Don't miss the petticoat races, with heats running all day. From 11am to 6pm. Admission is free.

Kentucky Derby Watch Party at Sanctuaria

Join Sanctuaria Wild Tapas and Feast and the annual Derby watch party, which benefits Stray Rescue. The menu will be Derby Bourbon Shrimp, Crusted Brie Delight, chorizo and tasso risotto bites, Manchego gougeres with piquillo sauce and caper-crusted Ahi tuna with toast points. For cocktails, sip on the Front Runner, with sparkling rose, Peychaud bitters and a sugar cube; a Mint Julep with Maker's Mark 46, mint and sugar; the At the Gate with Tito's vodka, simple syrup, St-Germain, lime and mint; or the Breaking Away, with Evan Williams, simple syrup, peach schnapps, lemon juice and peaches. Mother's Day Brunch at the Chase Park Plaza

Mother's Day Brunch at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten

"To celebrate Mother’s Day, the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Biergarten is hosting a special brunch-style buffet. The Biergarten brunch will feature a special Mother’s Day-themed menu, including an omelet station, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, grilled chicken, roast beef, and more. In addition to the 18 Anheuser-Busch beers on draught, The Biergarten will have Cidre Mimosas and Budweiser Brewed Mary’s – and Mom’s first drink is on The Biergarten! From 9am to 1pm.
