Nothing says summer like a BLT. And St. Louisans know the best place to fill up on the classic sandwich is at Kitchen Kulture’s stall at the Tower Grove Farmers’ Market each Saturday.
The business, which specializes in prepared foods and also operates a sister restaurant, Kounter Kulture, is known for its grilled cheese sandwiches at the market. Shoppers have no problem waiting in long lines for their ooey-gooey goodness.
From a bustling farmers’ market stall to collaborative pop-ups, the minds behind Kitchen Kulture are as creative as the food they serve.
But once tomato season rolls around, Kitchen Kulture unveils a summer staple: the BLT. Not only is Kitchen Kulture’s BLT piled high with six slices of applewood-smoked bacon, but it also features bright and juicy heirloom tomatoes from Harvey Yoder of Yoder’s Produce.
The BLT will only be on offer while the tomatoes are in season, likely around two months, so make sure to get it while you can.
