There's good news for fans of the street tacos and sizzling fajitas platters at Diablitos Cantina.
The Mexican restaurant is reopening its doors this week – but in a new location. Diablitos will reopen inside sister restaurant Sanctuaria Wild Tapas in The Grove on Tue., April 25, as announced on Facebook. The restaurant closed its original location near Saint Louis University in February after six years of business, citing upcoming construction for student housing at SLU.
The restaurants will share the space, with Diablitos serving lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11am to 3pm. Sanctuaria will operate its regular hours from 5 to 11pm, featuring limited Diablitos items on its dinner menu. Specials include buffalo chicken tacos on Tuesday, gringo tacos on Wednesday, The Austin (two flour tortillas filled with chicken adobo, peppers, onions and cheese) on Thursday and burrito specials on Friday.
Diablitos will also offer a happy hour from 4 to 7pm daily, with an additional late night happy hour from 11pm to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Specials include $1 off beers, $2 off wine glasses and $2 off seasonal cocktails.
