Street Fest at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, is a culinary adventure, and the Tasting Passport is the best way to explore all of the new flavors at the park. For $30, visitors can choose five different menu items to sample during the festival, which continues through May 2.

Sam Hedrick, director of food and beverage at Silver Dollar City, has worked at the park for 28 seasons, and he says that he and the rest of the culinary team had a blast creating the lineup of food for this festival in particular.

“Street Fest has allowed us to be really creative,” says Hedrick, “and that is what we hope our guests see through the food and the experience.”

The Silver Dollar City culinary team was inspired by the name of the festival, but they also sought to elevate the concept of street food. “We wanted to develop unique fare for people coming out for the event,” says Hedrick, “but we also wanted the menu items to have meaning in the area” – hence the appearance of toasted ravioli and tater tots.

Here are eight out of the 28 new dishes available at Silver Dollar City’s Street Fest. None of this is typical theme park food. The dishes are chef-driven, creative and downright delicious. But don’t take our word for it – head to Branson and taste everything for yourself.
