Amazon Prime has launched a brand-new food service in Kansas City.

Whole Foods Market, which is owned by Amazon, now offers door-to-door grocery delivery service from all its Kansas City locations through the Amazon Prime service. You must have an Amazon Prime account to use this feature.

The two companies recently launched delivery of all of the natural and organic products from Whole Foods Market through Amazon Prime in 10 new markets, including Kansas City, using Amazon’s ultra-fast delivery service model.

Shop online and make your grocery list from the following categories on the Whole Foods website: beef, poultry and pork, fresh fruits and vegetables (including organic), seafood, vitamins and personal care, pantry essentials (including pasta, grains, rice and sauces) coffee, tea, water and sports drinks, dairy and eggs, frozen foods, flowers, cheese, snacks, chips, salsa, baked goods and breads.

Your items are then pulled straight from your local Whole Foods shelves and delivered to your door in 1 hour for an extra fee. You can also schedule free delivery for the next day during hours that work with your schedule.

Shopping Whole Foods Market as a Prime Now gets even more convenient with Amazon’s electronic assistant, Alexa; you can add items to your cart simply by saying, “Alexa, add eggs to my Whole Foods cart.” When you are ready to checkout, say “Alexa, check out my Whole Foods cart,” and use your Prime Now app on your phone to choose in-store pickup or delivery to your door.

Grocery delivery is only one of several benefits Amazon Prime members enjoy when shopping at Whole Foods Market. They also receive steep discounts on popular products in stores and an additional 10 percent off sale items.

Door-to-door delivery from Whole Foods Market is now available in 63 cities. The service launched earlier this year with plans for continued expansion across the U.S. throughout 2018.

“Prime Now delivery continues to be a hit with our customers, and we’re excited to introduce the service in 10 new cities,” said Christina Minardi, Whole Foods Market Executive Vice President of Operations. “It’s just another way we’re making it even easier for more customers to enjoy Whole Foods Market’s healthy and organic food.”

Pickup from Whole Foods Market is available daily from 8am to 9pm, and delivery is available daily until 10pm.
