The Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival is bringing a wide variety of cuisine, along with a taste of roots, blues, gospel, country, folk and soul music to Columbia from Fri., Sept. 26, to Sun., Sept. 28, in Stephens Lake Park.
For its eighth annual year, the festival is bringing more than just barbecue to the event. Some of the festival's food vendors include:

While you're not exploring the cuisine options, be sure to check out many of the live performances over the weekend or participate in the RNBNBBQ Half Marathon and 10k Run.
Leading up to the festival, restaurants and retailers in The District will be offering discounts and promotions. Participating businesses include Tallulahs, Mustard Seed Fair Trade, Main Squeeze, Yogoluv, Red Mango and many more.
Festival tickets start at $40 and go up to $85 for weekend passes. For information about tickets, vendors, artists, sponsors and event times, check the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival website.
