St. Louis is now home to the largest wine-storage network in the United States.

It happened this week with Domaine Wine Storage's announcement that the company acquired LLK, a dominant storage and logistics player in the New York metropolitan area, the largest wine market in the United States.

"It is an honor to enter this critical wine market and take on the prominent position that LLK has rightly earned," says Marc Lazar, president of Domaine Wine Storage. "We look forward to introducing our best-in-class portfolio of storage, services and technology to collectors on the East Coast. We are thrilled that a St. Louis company is able to grow in this manner while also expanding our team here at home."

Domaine plans to expand on this presence with enhanced service, technology and strategic partnerships. Customers can expect a broader array of services including web-based inventory management and home cellar integration, according to the company.

Domaine also has locations in Chicago and Washington, D.C., and isn't done growing. Specifics aren't available as of yet, but Domaine is also looking to further expand into additional markets in the New Year.
