A lot of us have been spending more time in the kitchen these days. If you're looking for some new recipes to play around with – maybe, say, from some of your favorite local restaurants – consider grabbing a copy of our new cookbook, Extra Helping, which is officially available for download today.
Developed with the team at Small Circle Recipes, Extra Helping is a new community-sourced cookbook featuring recipes from chefs and bartenders around the region, including popular spots like Indo, Harold's Doughnuts, Nathaniel Reid Bakery, Olive + Oak, Rye, Q39, Sardella and more.
But this isn't just about providing you with new recipes to try – the cookbook is an easy way to support the hospitality industry. All fundraising dollars from the project will be donated to Chef Collective KC and the Gateway Resilience Fund, two incredible organizations supporting restaurant industry employees affected by COVID-19.
We're thrilled to announce that we've raised over $8,000 to support these organizations, and there's still time to donate: You can still purchase a copy of the cookbook here.
Thanks for helping us support the people behind the plate.
