EarthDance will be hosting its 7th annual Farmers Formal fundraiser, featuring local fare, a bumper crop of auction items and live music. Bid, feast and dance the night away at the Sheet Metal Workers Grand Hall on Chouteau Avenue on Sat., Nov. 8.

Enjoy local food and libations provided by Russo's Catering, Square One Brewery, Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. and St. James Winery, as well as dishes prepared with fresh EarthDance ingredients. Come out and bid on the live and silent auctions, including an in-house dinner prepared by chef Rex Hale of The Restaurant at The Cheshire, an off-the-grid cabin getaway in the Ozark National Forest and a Wild Fermentation Party for five guests!

Farmer's Formal 2014 premieres the fundraiser's first honorary event chair, Catherine Neville, publisher of Feast Magazine and long-time promoter of the local food scene.

"By training the next generation of farmers who are dedicated to sustainable practices, EarthDance's impact will ripple throughout the region," Neville says. "I'm proud to be able to support an organization that is so dedicated to making a long lasting, positive impact on its community. EarthDance is more than a farm school – it's a gathering place, a space for healing and a touchstone for the community far beyond the delicious, vibrant produce that grows in its fertile soil."

Tickets are available for purchase at three tiers with individualized perks: Guests ($100) will receive a signature Farmers Formal tea towel, Patrons ($150) will receive an additional basket of local artisan goods and Benefactors ($200) will receive both Guest and Patron-tier perks, as well as a homemade pie to spruce up their Thanksgiving table.
