Guerrilla Street Food Dishes

Guerrilla Street Food has earned a reputation for its Filipino-American fare.

Filipino-American street food concept Guerrilla Street Food is closing two locations and will likely be closing a third in the coming months.

The news was first reported by The St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Ian Froeb. In a press release Tuesday, owners Brian Hardesty and Joel Crespo announced that Guerrilla Street Food has closed its Maryland Heights location on Dorsett. The Tower Grove East location on Arsenal will follow shortly, with the last day being Sunday.

The Delmar Loop location of Guerrilla Street Food will operate for as long as possible, but the owners are actively seeking another local restaurant to take over the lease for the space.

"Many contributing factors have led to this outcome but above all, it has been our choices as owners that have led us down this path and we are here to take full responsibility for those choices. We will immediately reorganize, focus and hopefully, save Guerrilla Street Food," Hardesty and Crespo said in the release. "We hope that the upcoming effort is not too little, too late."

The team will turn the focus to Guerrilla Street Food's new Webster Groves location, their counter inside of 2nd Shift Brewing and the Guerrilla Street Food truck in the spring.

"Whatever happens with the future of our restaurants, it has been an honor and a pleasure to serve you. Please accept our most heartfelt thanks for your support throughout these last nine years," the owners said. "We love you guys."
