Brennan's national park cocktails

Each bottle design honors a different U.S. national park.

A new line of bottled cocktails from one St. Louis bar will honor the country's national parks while helping to protect them.

Brennan's has announced a new partnership with Yellowstone Bourbon and illustrator David Rygiol to create a line of whiskey cocktails that highlight the beauty of U.S. national parks, nicknamed the "Cheers to the Parks" campaign. Starting today, the three distinct cocktails are available for $35 each through Booze and Snacks, Brennan's online food and drink delivery service

Limestone Branch Distilling, the distiller of Yellowstone Bourbon, donates more than $40,000 to the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) each year. In addition to those donations, Brennan’s is donating 20 percent of all Yellowstone cocktails sold to national park conservation efforts across the country.

“We love Yellowstone Bourbon’s mission to support the national parks,” Zach Gzehoviak, Brennan’s marketing manager, said in a press release. “We had also been looking for a cool, charitable way to work with David Rygiol on a bottled cocktail release, so we’re thankful to Yellowstone for approaching us.”

The Faithful Old Fashioned will feature artwork depicting Yellowstone National Park and include bourbon, demerara syrup and both aromatic and orange bitters. The South Rim Sundown, an ode to the Grand Canyon, is a mixture of bourbon, pomegranate syrup and lemon, and The Eternal Tower honors Sequoia National Park with a blend of bourbon, cinnamon bark syrup, black tea and lemon.

The campaign will launch April 9, with a commemorative bourbon-themed dinner at Brennan's Work & Leisure with chef Nico Shumpert. Tickets for the $69 four-course dinner are available online. Guests will also get sent home with one of the campaign's bottled cocktails.
