While many St. Louisans know The Gramophone as a great watering hole, its real claim to fame is its sandwich menu. With a large selection of sandwiches stuffed with all sorts of fillings, you are sure to find something you'll enjoy at The Gramophone. And if you're looking for something hearty with plenty of cheese, we recommend the Fight Club.
You can talk about this Fight Club all you want. The sandwich starts with a buttered sesame baguette and is piled high with slow-roasted beef, Provel cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and a horseradish-blue cheese sauce. You can order the sandwich by the half if you're not too hungry, and you can also order it as a wrap if you want to go light on the carbs.
If roast beef isn't your style, try something like the Dijon Don (chopped chicken breast, thick-cut bacon, mushrooms, Swiss) or the People's Pastrami (pastrami, Swiss, pickles, bacon-braised cabbage). Make sure to grab a side of loaded mashed potatoes or homemade mac 'n' cheese for a well-rounded and tasty meal.
The Gramophone is offering its menu for takeout, limited dine-in service and delivery.
