Eckert’s Farm – the family farm and country store many St. Louisans know and love – recently opened a new seasonal market in Manchester.
For 20 years, the Illinois farm has operated a temporary market in the St. Louis area, which was previously located on Gravois. This summer, Eckert's is moving its pop-up market to a new location at 79 Nationalway Shopping Center in Manchester, Missouri.
The market is open daily from 9am to 6pm until Sun., Aug. 30. In addition to homegrown produce like fresh peaches and berries, you'll find baked goods, jams, cheeses, meats and more.
“The bounty of the farm doesn’t get much better than this time of year,” Angie Eckert, vice president of retail operations, said in a release. “Summer is always an opportunity to bring the experience of our farm, Country Store and Garden Center in Belleville directly to our guests from across the river. Our temporary market allows our St. Louis area guests to pick up our homegrown produce a little closer to home.”
Eckert’s St. Louis Seasonal Market will carry Eckert’s homegrown fruits and vegetables – think perfect peaches, beautiful blackberries, corn and squash. The store will also feature Country Store favorites including apple butter, jellies, muffins and fresh baked fruit pies. Plus, many meats such as summer sausage, bacon, brats and more will be in stock.
As it opens its new temporary location, Eckert’s is also celebrating 10 years at its Belleville location.
