St. Lunatic sandwich

The St. Lunatic is a single cheeseburger that features a barbecue pork steak, toasted raviolis, Red Hot Riplet chips and provel cheese between two circular slices of Imo's Pizza serving as buns.

Most St. Louisans have tried at least one of the city's iconic foods – toasted ravioli, pork steaks, Provel cheese, Red Hot Riplets and Imo's Pizza – but have you ever eaten them all at once?

To celebrate March 14, otherwise known as 3.14 day, a holiday to recognize everything that makes St. Louis what it is, Hi-Pointe Drive-In is serving up its St. Lunatic sandwich piled high with some of the city's most notable foods. According to a press release, the St. Lunatic is a single cheeseburger that features a barbecue pork steak, toasted ravioli, Red Hot Riplet chips and Provel cheese sandwiched between two circular slices of Imo's Pizza serving as buns.

If you think that you can handle this collage of St. Louis culinary history, you have to get to one of Hi-Pointe's two St. Louis locations on March 14, as the special will only be offered that day.

If the St. Lunatic sounds like a little much, there are plenty of others ways to celebrate the holiday: Knockout BBQ is serving pork steak sliders for $3.14; Bailey's Range is offering a gooey butter cake shake for $3.14; and you can grab local beers for $3.14 at 4 Hands Brewing Co., Ferguson Brewing Co., O'Fallon Brewing Co. and Schlafly Beer.
