If you've been missing the ribs from Bogart's Smokehouse, you don't have to wait much longer to be reunited.
The beloved barbecue joint has announced it will be back open March 30, and with a good reason to celebrate. Not only is the restaurant reopening after going dormant for the winter, but 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of Bogart's. The restaurant, part of the Pappy's Smokehouse family, first opened its doors in February 2011.
“The challenge of the pandemic created some new opportunities for us," co-owner Niki Puto said in a press release. "During our temporary closure, we began a partnership with MarketWagon St. Louis last fall, offering ribs and other items for home delivery which provides an option for St. Louis area residents to enjoy some of their favorites. We also launched online ordering as a way to offer our smoked bacon-wrapped hams, turkeys and limited menu items for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and are doing so again for this coming Easter holiday. The response from our customers has been overwhelming, and we can’t wait to see everyone again when we reopen on the 30th.”
To commemorate a decade in business, Bogart's is offering a few different specials. Grab-and-go items are now available, with ribs, baked beans and pulled pork available frozen, vacuum-sealed and ready for travel. You can also pick up a T-shirt to celebrate the milestone, and keep an eye out for giveaways on the restaurant's social media channels. And if you spend more than $100 during the celebration on Fridays and Saturdays, you'll get a free pound of wings with your order while supplies last.
Bogart's will reopen with limited indoor seating and outdoor picnic table seating. Online ordering for carryout will be available for the full menu, including Bogart's specialty smoked wings on Fridays and Saturdays.
