Crab & Cider Festival at Brick River Cider

Enjoy crab-inspired dishes from Farmtruk including crab hushpuppies, deep-fried crab Rangoon, crab rolls, shoft shell crab BLTs and a crab boil, all paired with Brick Rivers' own ciders. The festival also includes lives music and the release of Brick River's newest cider, Summer Tart, made with rhubarb, ginger and apple. Saturday from 11am to 11pm and Sunday from 11am to 9pm. 2nd Shift Brewing Co.'s Criderfest

"We've made it another year folks! 9 years of fun, friendship, laughter & beer. Join us this year, once again, as we celebrate with some of the breweries we're lucky to call friends! Each year we try to do a fun twist on this festival, keeping it fun & us on our toes - and because lager is the word this year (and every year!), this year's theme is 'What's Lager Got To Do With It'. Many of the breweries attending will be bringing a lager to share in addition to another fun beer or two - is there any way better to spend a June day than drinking lagers? We think not.Tunes this year are presented by the Badass Ms. Landydandy (hellllllloooooo Tina Tunes!) who will be spinning throughout the fest." From noon to 4pm. Tower Grove Park's Pavilion Party

"Save the date for Pavilion Party hosted by the Young Friends! Enjoy beer, wine & cocktails, small plates, yard games, and live music at historic pavilions by the blooming lily ponds. All funds raised support the preservation and maintenance of Tower Grove Park. Ticket price includes all food and drink; there are no extra costs at the event! "Plantain Girl is coming to the taproom and Ryan has agreed to do a Neil Diamond impersonation for the entire brunch service! (probably, we haven't actually asked him yet). Les Dames d'Escoffier STL Present a Global Culinary Initiative - Passport to France, Destination Provence

"Join us for a gracious summer culinary evening at the newly- opened Venue at Maison du Lac in Pacific, Missouri. Cocktails and hors d'oeurves, served on the terrace, will begin this idyllic summer evening at this 30 acre countryside venue, overlooking its lake and 1840s French immigrant stone farm house. A multi-course, country French meal will follow, featuring the savory flavors of Provence. Elsie Parker and The Poor People of Paris, a St Louis-based group that specializes in French music, will perform throughout the evening. A silent auction will feature many French-focused foods and herbs, wines, cookbooks and other items."Passport to . . . " is an annual philanthropic event of the Global Culinary Initiative of Les Dames d'Escoffier St Louis, providing financial support for culinary scholarships for women and for community outreach." Tales and Tastes with Schlafly at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis

"Join Shakespeare Festival St. Louis for the first Tales and Tastes event on Sun., June 23. Enjoy the final night of Shakespeare in the Park with a special pre-reception featuring Schlafly beer tastings with food pairings by Butler's Pantry. Schlafly's Stephen Hale will join us to discuss the craft brewer's introduction of cocktail beers like the Paloma Gose and Kentucky Mule plus more fan favorites.
