Pizza, beer and dogs – what's not to love?
Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. and Purina are teaming up again for the Raise a Pint for Pets campaign. Throughout August and September, you can pick up an Urban Underdog Dinner Pack from Urban Chestnut's bierhall in The Grove. For each dinner pack purchased, Purina will donate $10 to local animal shelters, up to $5,000.
The dinner packs include a take-and-bake pizza, a 4-pack of Urban Chestnut's Urban Underdog American Lager, an Urban Underdog beer koozie and, of course, a bag of Purina Beggin' Strips for your favorite pooch.
In addition to the dinner packs, Purina will donate $1 to the Petfinder Foundation, up to $20,000, for each can of Urban Underdog sold at participating food and drink establishments in Missouri. The Petfinder Foundation's mission is make sure that no adoptable pets are euthanized and instead find their forever homes.
“Over these past few months, a lot of us have found ourselves spending more time with our family pets, gaining a renewed appreciation for all they do for us,” Urban Chestnut co-owner and co-founder David Wolfe said in a press release. “We are fortunate we are able to assist Purina’s efforts to ensure local shelters have the resources they need to help pets find their forever homes."
Cheese pizza dinner packs can be purchased for $25, and pepperoni pizza dinner packs can be purchased for $28.
