Drive-thrus are a near-perfect system for a pandemic: You never have to leave your vehicle, contact with other people is limited and you can grab a meal to feed you or your whole family. But sometimes, you don't want to sacrifice handcrafted flavors for the speed and convenience of the average fast-food restaurant. But thanks to the new Butcher Block sandwich from Lion's Choice, you don't have to choose between quick and tasty.
The Butcher Block sandwich is packed with 35 grams of protein thanks to a trio of Lion's Choice's favorite meats: slow-roasted beef, hickory-smoked ham and oven-roasted turkey. They are piled on a brioche bun and topped with lettuce, Swiss cheese and a honey version of the restaurant's famous horseradish sauce.
You can pick up the sandwich at your favorite Lion's Choice location for $5.49, or get it with your side of choice and a drink for $8.75. Plus, if you are helping to fight coronavirus on the frontlines, all medical workers and first responders receive 20 percent off their Lion’s Choice order.
Lion's Choice is offering its menu for drive-thru pickup and delivery via DoorDash.
Editor's note: This post has been updated to reflect that a 55 percent off promotion for first responders and medical workers has ended, but they can still receive 20 percent off their meals year-round.
