Sister Cities Cajun Catfish Po'Boy

Blackened catfish po'boy with remoulade, greens and onion.

One of St. Louis' favorite holidays is finally here. And while you can't drink among the crowds in Soulard or pack into your favorite bar, you can find a little taste of NOLA to take home with you this Fat Tuesday. If you're looking for a meal to celebrate, you'll certainly find something to satisfy your craving at Sister Cities Cajun.

The po'boy, first invented in New Orleans in the '20s, is a staple throughout the city, which makes it perfect for enjoying during Mardi Gras. At Sister Cities, you have plenty of options when it comes to the famed sandwich – shrimp, a crispy chicken or a take on a Cuban are all available – but we recommend going for the catfish iteration. Served with remoulade sauce, greens and onion, this sandwich is a classic take on the sandwich. Enjoy it alongside red beans and rice for a meal that will feel fit for Fat Tuesday.

Sisters Cities Cajun is offering its menu for carryout, curbside pickup and limited dine-in service.
