Katie's Pizza and Pasta Osteria is coming to Ballpark Village next year.

Ballpark Village is about to get a little more Italian.

Katie’s Pizza and Pasta Osteria, the Italian concept from married duo Katie and Ted Collier, is set to open its third location in St. Louis’ Ballpark Village at 751 Clark St. in early 2023. The largest of the three, it will join locations in Rock Hill and Town and Country.

“For two kids who grew up in St. Louis, opening a restaurant across the street from Busch Stadium in Ballpark Village is a dream come true,” Katie said in a release. “Our new restaurant will be our largest by far, which gives us an opportunity to expand our concept – and our menu. We’ll have lots of familiar favorites and several new dishes available exclusively at this location. We’re looking forward to becoming a part of the fabric of Ballpark Village and downtown St. Louis on Cardinal game days and well beyond.”

Construction on the nearly 10,000-square-foot space will begin immediately. Plans include a private event space, an outdoor patio, a wood-fired grill and a pasta-making station. For those who don’t have time to sit down and dine, the restaurant will also have a carryout market selling specialty items and ready-to-eat dishes.

When it opens, the restaurant will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, plus brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Expect dishes that are both new and beloved rollovers from the previous locations, including antipasti, burrata, salads and hand-crafted pizza and pasta.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to have Katie’s Pizza and Pasta open their newest restaurant in Ballpark Village,” said Bill DeWitt III, president of the St. Louis Cardinals, in the release. “It is one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis, and to have them choose downtown to expand their successful local operation is a huge win for the Cardinals and downtown St. Louis.”
