The art show will be held from 6 to 9pm Friday with live acoustic music and continue from 8:30 to 11:30am Saturday during the once a month open house event. The winner of the art show will be announced Saturday morning.

Fall Festival at Mission Taco Joint
In honor of National Adoption Month, the Central West End and St. Charles locations of Mission Taco Joint will host family-friendly fall festivals in support of Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. Free activities (with a suggested donation to benefit the adoption organizations) include a coloring station for kids’ to design their own luchador mask stickers, free fall-themed sugar cookies, face painting and more. From 11am to 2pm.
Trout fishing returns to Suson Park in November! This year park rangers have something new to offer. Warm up with a hot breakfast while you fish for your trout dinner. A pancake, sausage and egg breakfast will be served at Spindler Shelter from 8:30 to 10:30am. Coffee and hot chocolate will also be served. In celebration of National Sandwich Day on Sunday, family-owned and operated Snarf’s is giving the first 25 customers free Snarf’s T-shirts and other fun sandwich swag at all four St. Louis Snarf’s locations beginning at 11am. In addition to the in-store giveaways, Snarf’s is hosting a contest on its Facebook page Oct. 16 through Nov. 3 where sandwich connoisseurs can design and name their perfect sandwich for a chance to have it featured on the Snarf’s menu for a year. It's time for the annual Goulash Festival! Dinners will be served from 11am to 5pm featuring goulash over noodles or a half baked chicken and dressing with side dishes, dessert and coffee or tea included.
