Enterprise Center is pulling out all the stops for the NHL All-Star Game this weekend.
The STL Kitchen team is preparing to show off not only St. Louis favorites but beloved dishes from around the country on both Fri., Jan. 24 and Sat., Jan. 25.
“It’s a huge honor to host the NHL’s best players and fans,” said Daniel Driol, executive chef for Levy at Enterprise Center, in a press release. “It’s an exciting time for our team in St. Louis and beyond. We’re fortunate to work with a great team here, and draw on our colleagues serving other arenas around the league. It’s going to be an incredible celebration.”
For those looking for takes on St. Louis dishes, try the St. Louis Mama's Meatball Sub or the returning St. Louis "Big as Your Head" Toasted Ravioli stuffed with beef, ricotta and mozzarella.
Look to hockey rival Chicago for the STL-Chi-town "Game Misconduct" Hot Italian beef piled high with Budweiser BBQ au jus, a Budweiser brat, fried or grilled onions and giardiniera on a fresh-baked hoagie bun. Other classic dishes from cities across the country include a take on the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a deluxe Montreal poutine. If you want more modern takes, try the Dallas bánh mì with smoked brisket, pickled veggies, avocado chimichurri and roasted jalapeño cream cheese or the Los Angeles bulgogi cheesesteak.
Aside from bites from different NHL cities, STL Kitchen will also be serving up cocktails to celebrate the upcoming Mardi Gras celebration. Fans can enjoy an STL Hurricane (with light and dark rum, fresh orange juice, passionfruit purée, lime juice, simple syrup and an orange peel) or the Carnival Cocktail, made with vodka, blue curaçao, Midori, peach schnapps, fresh lime and an orange "arch" twist.
The dishes will be found around the Enterprise Center concourse both days of the celebrations.
