Every February, the food-and-drink industry in Springfield, Missouri, like in the rest of the country, gears up for Valentine’s Day with themed menus, romantic settings and special sweet treats. The holiday usually provides a welcome boost in winter sales, and although packed restaurants aren’t a possibility this year, there are still ways to show both your sweetheart and a local small business some love.
Reserve an Igloo at Vantage Rooftop Lounge and Conservatory
Vantage Rooftop Lounge and Conservatory is closed on Sundays, and this Valentine’s Day is no exception. Vantage offers light fare and a robust cocktail menu, plus each reservation includes two complimentary chocolate truffles. If you’re a purist and want to celebrate with a fancy meal on Feb. 14, another option is to book a table at Vantage’s sister restaurant, The Order.
