If you live in the Midwest, the taste of Till American Wheat Vodka’s premium product should strike a chord. Flavorwise, the vodka has a crisp taste with a hint of creaminess and warmth and a smooth finish. Although superb on its own, it enhances summery drinks like a lime-sage Moscow Mule, honey-lavender lemonade or thyme Cobbler with muddled strawberries and lime juice.

What strikes a chord, more than just the flavor, is the hardworking Midwest mentality that went into creating the vodka. The company, whose slogan is “Pride Distilled,” celebrates the heartland in all aspects from field to finished product. Till Vodka is created from premium Kansas-farmed wheat that’s distilled in Atchison, Kansas (about an hour north of Kansas City), by the MGP Ingredients distillery team using a 75-year-old proprietary process. The vodka’s excellence was recognized in 2016 when it took gold at the BevStar Awards and silver at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Till is also the official vodka of Sporting Kansas City, one of the country’s leading professional soccer clubs, known for its devoted crowds.

“As a heartland distillery with a historic Kansas tradition, we’re proud to source the finest wheat for Till Vodka from the farmers in our area,” says Andrew Mansinne, vice president of brands at MGP Ingredients. “The quality, smoothness and authentic appeal of Till is inherently connected to the American heartland and has driven our growth.”

By the end of July, Till American Wheat Vodka will be available in key heartland markets, including Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin.

In conjunction with its expansion, Till’s packaging got a makeover from clear glass to a frosted bottle that showcases Midwest craftsmanship in a stylish design of idyllic farmland. There are two new sizes available – 1.75 liters and 50 milliliters – on top of the 750-milliliters and 1-liter sizes currently offered. The full list of retail locations can be found at tillvodka.com.

In addition to retail stores, many trendy bars and restaurants use Till Vodka to craft cocktails, including W speakeasy-style bar in Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Farmers Gastropub in Springfield, Missouri; Sycamore in Columbia, Missouri; and Blood & Sand in St. Louis. Stay tuned for Farmers’ Market Cocktails, a Till Vodka program with local bartenders, launching with Feast this summer. Bartenders will develop seasonal cocktail recipes inspired by the bounty of the heartland to pair with this premier American wheat vodka.
