Les Bourgeois Vineyards gets neighborly to find the right Norton

Jacob Holman explains how a trip down the road was the key to its 2017 vintage. He chats with Cat Neville as part of the Virtual Vine series.

Les Bourgeois Vineyards is located in historic Rocheport overlooking the Missouri River. Their 2017 Norton is a full-bodied, dry red wine that showcases the unique characteristics of the official state grape. Their winemakers strive for a balance that can be hard to find with Norton, and the process creates a bouquet of violet with spicy earth tones and rich fruit flavors. The sip ends with a lingering, light tannin finish.
