Thai Iced Coffee

Serves | 4 |

  • ½ cup ground Community Coffee Signature Dark Roast
  • 1½ tsp ground cardamom
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ice

Preparation | In a small bowl, combine coffee grounds and cardamom. Place a coffee filter in a coffee maker, and carefully transfer grounds mixture to filter. Add 4 cups water to coffee maker, and brew according to manufacturer’s instructions. Let coffee mixture cool to room temperature. Cover; refrigerate until chilled.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring sweetened condensed milk and whole milk to a simmer. Stir in nutmeg, and remove from heat. Let cool to room temperature. Cover; refrigerate until chilled.

Fill 4 glasses with ice. Divide chilled milk mixture among glasses. Slowly pour coffee mixture into each glass. Stir to combine. Serve immediately.
