Fans of Pizza Champ have a new space to enjoy New York-style pies – and soon, a new beverage program to pair with them. The pizza restaurant launched in January as a takeout-only concept, but now guests can dine at its newly constructed four-seasons patio in Maplewood, Missouri. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of beers, wines and cocktails from Shared by Side Project Brewing, which will join Pizza Champ in the space on May 18.
Operating in just an 800-square-foot space, the patio gives Pizza Champ and Shared a venue to hosts guests. The large patio will be open in the summer and enclosed and heated in the colder months. Diners will order food and beverages from the QR codes posted at tables and can pick everything up from convenient walk-up windows.

“We’re excited to see our vision for the full concept of Pizza Champ come to life,” Pizza Champ co-owner Chris Kelling said in a press release. “We want to be a neighborhood pizza joint, and now we invite our neighbors to grab a beer, wait for a pizza and relax on the patio with their families.”
In addition to Pizza Champ’s lineup of pies ranging from triple pepperoni to taco to Buffalo chicken, Shared by Side Project Brewing will offer a dozen different beers on draft, as well as canned wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Expect to see a rotating menu of lagers and hoppy beers.
Carryout via the restaurant’s drive-thru window is also available.
