Opening just after the Kansas City shelter-in-place order went into effect this past April, Geo’s Cheese still managed to make itself at home in the Waldo neighborhood.

Owner Spencer Woodard says that neighbors have been extremely supportive, and the shop has already proven to be an edible oasis for cheese enthusiasts across the city.

Offering unique artisan cheeses and high-quality traditional cheeses in addition to all the offbeat extras you need to create your dream charcuterie board – think pickled asparagus, lamb sausage, Feta-stuffed olives, smoked rainbow trout spread, strawberry IPA beer jelly and Ozark stout ale mustard – Geo’s Cheese is also preparing cheese and sausage gift baskets and premade charcuterie boards for the holidays.
