The holiday season is in full swing. Learn how to make holiday cocktails, watch a holiday movie marathon or shop for gifts for loved ones. You can also try Bay Boy's take on the famous Popeye's chicken sandwich – just make sure to get it before it's gone.
"We have a very special Specialty Sandwich Saturday planned this week. We figured why should Chick-fil-a and Popeye's have all the fun, we love chicken sandwiches too! Only offered THIS SATURDAY, December 7th until we run out and don't you worry, WE WILL RUN OUT. The event just has our business hours listed, but I will GUARANTEE we sell out well before dinner." From 11am until sold out.
"It's the most wonderful time of the year! Round up the kids and bring them to the Bierhalle on Saturday, Dec. 7 for our annual St. Nikolaus Day Celebration and all-day holiday movie marathon. St. Nikolaus will be here handing out cookies and posing for photos from 12 PM to 3 PM while the grown-ups can enjoy a few biers, pretzels and other Bavarian fare! Plus, we'll have an all-day holiday movie marathon starting at 12 PM, and holiday-themed coloring activities and free hot cocoa for the kids from 11 AM to 3 PM. But, watch out kids! Krampus may return again this year to remind everyone to be good this holiday season...At 8 PM, we'll lower the lights for a watch party of the 2015 comedy-holiday-horror flick "Krampus." Equal parts campy and creepy, "Krampus" is rated PG-13 for horror violence/terror and language (not kid-friendly)." All day.
Celebrate four years of Crane Brewing Co. with the release of nine different barrel-aged beers, including an imperial stout with vanilla aged in J. Rieger barrels, plus barbecue from the acclaimed Harp Barbecue and a street taco buffet from chef Brett Atkinson of Wilma's for dinner. The event also features live music performed by Gary Jones. All day.
"Get ready to learn how to make three signature holiday cocktails with us so you can host the best holiday parties. We will teach you step by step how to make three drinks while you enjoy small bites. First up is our take on a classic boozy eggnog. It will feature J. Rieger whiskey and a real good amount of Amontillado sherry. That store bought eggnog has nothing on this homemade eggnog. [A non alcoholic version will also be available] Next up is our crowd pleaser a holiday punch. We will be doing a mulled Negroni. If you didn't know mulled basically means spiced. This will be a large batch of aromatized spirits that people can leave on the stove top all day long. It is simple to create ahead of time, and well we all need a little simplisticity for the holidays. Lastly, the Tom & Harry. This is our play on the classic warm milk punch. We will walk you through the process of making a delicious pancake batter that works as the base of the cocktail. We add in J. Rieger whiskey and allspice dram to keep the cold away. The finishing touch is an absinthe whip cream on top with a dusting of nutmeg." From 3 to 6pm. Tickets are $35, available here.
