"Malou Perez-Nievera successfully launched her maiden cookbook/memoir called Connecting the Pots (Charting stories and Filipino recipes to find home) late last year. This year she embarks on her 2020 Book Tour and Kamayan Dinner Series. Her first stop is Kansas City, MO. She is being hosted by Chrissy Nucum, owner of KC PINOY, a Filipino restaurateur who started off with a food truck 3 years ago. Chrissy and the KC Pinoy team together with Malou will be collaborating to prepare a Kamayan dinner with the dishes from Malou’s cookbook. Chef Malou Perez-Nievera is famous for her beautiful Kamayan spreads. Kamayan - which translates to "eating with your hands" - is a fun, immersive dinner experience. Nix the stereotypical dining setup of plates and conventional silverware - Kamayan promises to be a festive night of dining on banana leaves and glorious food laid out to be shared and eaten with your hands! 2019 Piquette Chambourcin Release at Fence Stile Vineyards and Winery
Head to Fence Stile Vineyards and Winery this Saturday for the release of the winery's Chamboucin Piquette, the first piquette to be made in Missouri. Born on February 29? Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine (Must be 21 or older. ID required.). From 1 to 5pm, you can taste and purchase rare past vintages of wine not featured on the current wine menu. From 11am to 8pm.

In this hands-on and interactive experience, Chef Hogan shares his culinary expertise while you create three classic Italian dishes from Lidia Bastianich.
