Ruby Jean's Juicery calls itself Kansas City's No. 1 healthy establishment, and it's no surprise why. Owner Chris Goode named the restaurant after his grandmother, who he believes would have lived longer with better access to more nutritious foods. The menu offers plenty of dishes and drinks that will leave you feeling energized and satisfied, but if you're looking for a great go-to breakfast or midday meal, we recommend picking up an açaí bowl from Ruby Jean's.
The açaí bowl starts with a base of an açaí blend, granola and coconut flakes before it's topped with blueberries, strawberries and banana. Don't love one of those ingredients? Don't worry, these bowls are all made to order and fruits can be substituted upon request.
Just want the smoothie without all of the extras? Ruby Jean's offers over a dozen smoothies, plus signature juices, if you're looking to drink your meal instead. Try the Butter Crunch (chocolate chips, banana, vanilla extract, peanut butter, pretzels, almond milk, agave) for something sweet or the Cherry Bomb (cherries, watermelon, lime, banana, agave) for something refreshing.
Ruby Jean's Juicery is offering its menu for takeout.
