Italian: Lidia’s Kansas City

Lidia’s Kansas City was at the forefront of the redevelopment of the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City. Chef-owner Lidia Bastianich herself selected the former railroad warehouse for her namesake restaurant – one of only two Bastianich restaurants outside of New York City. Lidia’s nods to its namesake’s childhood spent in Trieste, Italy, while also reflecting modern and local touches. Try the Zucca, butternut squash-filled ravioli doused in a sage-brown butter sauce.
