The Heidelberg

The classic wings or bacon-Cheddar potato skins are both good choices from the Berg.

In Columbia, The Heidelberg has been a staple of the University of Missouri campus since its original location opened in 1963. Its proximity makes it a perfect place for students and alumni to have a beer, enjoy a sandwich or enjoy the weather on the large rooftop patio. While you'll find endless bar fare favorites on the menu, you can never go wrong with the appetizers at The Berg.

Many Mizzou grads have probably fallen in love with The Heidelberg's appetizers during their happy hour, where you can buy one and get one for free while sipping on a favorite brew, but the wide array of pre-dinner bites have proven they can stand all on their own. If you're eating solo at home tonight, go for Marty's seasoned wings or the deluxe club skins (potato skins topped with smoked turkey, crumbled bacon, green onions and Mozzarella cheese). Splitting your meal tonight? Be sure to spring for the Buffalo chicken dip or the spinach and artichoke dip, both of which are guaranteed to satisfy any craving for gooey cheese. And if none of these strike your fancy, don't worry – there are plenty more to choose from.

The Heidelberg is offering its menu for carryout, curbside pickup and limited dine-in service.
