If there is a restaurant in downtown Columbia you've been dying to try – whether new or old – now is the time. 

Restaurants in The District, Columbia's downtown corridor, will be offering special menu items and deals through Sun., Jan. 26 for the winter edition of its Restaurant Week.

If you're looking for a dish you wouldn't usually find, head to Billiards on Broadway for the special Harold's Doughnut burger, featuring a famous Billiards burger topped with Cheddar cheese and bacon and served on a donut from the popular downtown shop, for $8.49. If you're looking for something a little lighter, stop by Nourish Café & Market for an everything bagel sandwich made with herb cashew "cheese" spread, tomato, cilantro and avocado for $10. 

Want a decadent lunch at a reasonable price? Teller's is offering a $11 lunch of a steak flatbread topped with blue cheese, red onion, Provolone and balsamic reduction served with a side salad. At 11 Eleven in the Broadway, get one of four sandwiches – a Hot Brown, a shrimp po' boy, a grilled pimento cheese or a Monte Cristo – with a side for just $10. Need something quick? Pizza Tree is serving up a slice, half salad and a fountain drink during lunch hours for just $8. 

For dinner, stop by Sake for a $38 dinner for two with a dessert to share, or head to Sagua La Grande for a Cuban entree sample platter for $14. Split two small plates with a friend and a dessert at Room 38 Restaurant and Lounge for $35. At Glenn's Cafe, get a special blackened redfish with a side salad and two sides for $25. 

Just looking to wet your whistle this week? You'll find specials all around town. The Roof is offering $4 Logboat drafts, $5 house wines and a $5 daily DogMaster Distillery cocktail special. The Quarry is offering Abita Ambers for just $2.50, and Günter Hans European Pub & Café will warm you up with its hot and spiced German gluhwine for just $5.
