In Columbia, Ozark Mountain Biscuit Co. has upgraded to permanent digs with a fresh menu

From now on, Columbia, Missouri, diners will always know where to find the buttery, Southern-style biscuit sandwiches from Ozark Mountain Biscuit Co. The company’s new brick-and-mortar location, Ozark Mountain Biscuit and Bar officially opened its doors on Thu., July 8, serving the food truck’s characteristic fare alongside new dishes with a more coastal vibe such as the barbecue shrimp dinner.

Owner Bryan Maness is also working with local farmers to source fresh ingredients for seasonal options such as a summer sharing plate featuring pickled and fried okra and fried green tomatoes. He invites patrons to find a spot on the sprawling, open-air patio – measuring almost 2,500 square feet, there’s space for everyone – and dig into the expanded all-day menu. And don’t forget about drinks; the bevy of beverages includes locally roasted coffee, craft cocktails and beer.

Ozark Mountain Biscuit and Bar is open Thursday through Monday. Coffee and pastries are available beginning at 7am, with seating available from 9am to 9pm.
