Fujiko Izakaya is bringing another one of its popular pop-up dinners to Columbia's Barred Owl Butcher & Table on Mon., Feb. 17. 

The five-course meal with be beef-focused, spotlighting Wagyu beef sourced from local Lage Farms in Jefferson City. 

"We really wanted to do an evening that was dedicated to one farmer specifically, and we personally really love the beef that comes out of Lage Farms," Fujiko's Frances Harvey says. 

Harvey doesn't like to reveal the whole menu ahead of time, but aside from the noodle dishes that Fujiko Izakaya is known for, Harvey says that she is particularly excited for the first course, featuring a raw preparation of the beef. 

There will be no substitutions allowed, as the chefs are letting the meat inspire them. 

The dinner will seat about 70 people and sold out in a matter of hours.

"I'm really excited," Harvey says.
