Today's Takeout: Signature Concotion from Parengo Coffee

Parengo Coffee coffees

Parengo uses only house-roasted beans in all of its coffee drinks.

Parengo Coffee is an oasis for coffee-lovers in southeastern Missouri. Not only does the shop roast its beans in house, but it takes care to source high-quality coffee beans from across Africa and South America. You can take home some beans yourself for a weekend treat, but while you're there, you'd be remiss not to try one of the extravagant coffee drinks from the café's list of signature concoctions.

Coffee regulars and newbies alike will find something to enjoy on Parengo's list of signature concoctions. Try The Chata, a horchata-inspired drink that blends espresso, almond milk and plenty of cinnamon. For those who want to sneak the coffee in, try Parengo's version of a Dirty Chai. If you want to steer clear of espresso all together, opt for the London Fog for a latte experience without the coffee.

If you want to skip the hot drinks all together, head down menu for iced coffee, a classic iced latte or even a smoothie if you're looking for something with a little more nutrition.

Parengo Coffee is offering its menu for carryout and limited dine-in service.
