I invented this cocktail last May for my bartender friend T.J. Vytlacil. As with many of the cocktails I conjure up, it was a spur-of-the-moment, off-the-cuff recipe, and it just worked. This boozy cocktail is a night starter or ender. More than one of these will really catch up to you.

Serves | 1 |

  • 1½ oz Black Maple Hill bourbon
  • 1 oz Cocchi Americano
  • ½ oz Calvados
  • ½ oz Gran Classico Bitter liqueur
  • ¼ oz Campari
  • 2 dashes Bar Keep Baked Apple bitters
  • Luxardo cherry for garnish

| Preparation | Combine all liquids in a mixing glass. Add cubed ice. Stir for 30 seconds and fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry.
