There used to just be storage back there—oh, and a utility sink. But now the roughly 6’-x-8’ space tucked to the side of the bar at 4 Hands Brewing Company is home to David Bailey’s newest restaurant, The Fifth Wheel, as first reported by

“I’ve known [co-owner Kevin Lemp] for a long time,” explains Bailey on how the partnership came to be. “We always talked about doing something together, and now this is it.”

Utilizing the commissary at his Downtown restaurant, Baileys' Range—which also supplies his other restaurants, Rooster, Bridge and Baileys' Chocolate Bar—The Fifth Wheel’s curated menu will be supplied with fresh bread and other made-in-house ingredients to help make up the variety of appetizers, as well as several sandwiches.

“We’re really excited that this came together,” says Nick Kanter, area manager for 4 Hands. “Already we’re seeing a change. People are staying longer because they don’t have to leave to get great food.”

The Fifth Wheel operates within 4 Hands Brewing from 5 to 9:30pm Monday to Saturday.
