In selecting our September 2012 cover, we sought out an image that captured the essence of the issue: how St. Louisans are taking fresh approaches to sourcing, growing, preparing and serving food.

Our features delved into all of these areas, and from them, we pulled the stunning shot at left from Ravishing Radishes, which delivers recipes for the impressive array of varieties grown by local farmers.
