Organizers of the 11th Annual TOCO Family Music Festival are inviting 100 families in need free of charge to take part in the fun and educational activities that are part of the event.
To help feed the special guests, a handful of St. Louis-area restaurants are chipping in, including:
- 1860's Hardshell Café
- Joanies Pizzeria
- Nadine's Gin Joint
- Molly's in Soulard
- McGurk's Irish Pub and Garden
- Johnny's Restaurant and Bar
For charitable and educational purposes, TOCO (Tapestry of Community Offerings) assists regional children and families in need through community partnerships and takes a progressive role to promote the community pledge to reduce, reuse and recycle in order to build a diverse and sustainable community. TOCO has kept an estimated 160,000 pounds of materials out of landfills since 2010, according to a press release from the organization.
The annual benefit takes place at Jellystone Park Resort near Six Flags St. Louis. Events kick off on Fri., Sept. 7, at 3pm and run through Sun., Sept. 9, at 3pm. This year’s theme is “Be a Super Hero.”
