On Sat., July 28, Operation Food Search will be holding its Saturday Jubilee, a one-day, community-wide food drive to help restock the food bank's shelves for the difficult summer months.

Volunteers will be at area Schnucks, Dierbergs, Walmart and Shop 'N Save locations as well as Whole Foods Market's Brentwood location. Volunteers will be outside the stores collecting food from 9am to 5pm. Items needed include cereal; peanut butter; canned meats, soups, fruits and vegetables; pasta, rice and beans; baby formula; and juice in boxes or plastic bottles. Operation Food Search serves 250 member agencies that serve more than 150,000 people, a third of whom are children.
