It won’t be hard to remember where to head for Perennial’s next reMAKE Thursday event.

The local social enterprise is teaming up with Perennial Artisan Ales to host its Thu., June 14, trash-to-treasures event from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

Perennial (the non-profit) will show you how to create a classic hand fan from vintage maps; turn an old belt into a hip, bohemian leather bracelet and transform T-shirts into a carry-all tote for summer. The projects target every skill level, and Perennial staff will be on board with the know-how to guide you through each. All materials and tools will be provided.

reMAKE Thursdays are open to the public with a $5 suggested donation to support Perennial. Give Perennial a head's up that you and your friends will be coming by emailing by Mon., June 11. With a 15 to 20 person limit, the guest list is expected to fill quickly.

Each reMAKE event will be hosted by a local eatery or bar and feature an evolving set of projects from salvaged materials.
