We have good news for fans of the former Fio's La Fourchette: one of chef Fio Antognini's dishes is back on a St. Louis menu.

During a recent visit, the sorely missed chef met up with longtime friends Andy and Dee Dee Kohn at their new restaurant, EdgeWild Restaurant & Winery in Chesterfield, and that led to a collaboration with EdgeWild executive chef Aaron Baggett. The two culinarians recreated one of Antognini's signature dishes from his days as chef/owner of Fio's La Fourchette in Clayton.

The end result: the Frangelico & Toffee Mousse Torte. Layered with ginger bread, a white and dark chocolate ganache and an almond crust, the dessert is now being served at EdgeWild.

"It was an honor to meet Fio Antognini and work with him on the reinvention of one of his most popular desserts," Baggett says.

Dee Dee Kohn adds, "I remember Fio's version of this dish at La Fourchette, and it was a huge hit. Who knew that out of a short visit to St. Louis would come this culinary collaboration? We love what chef Baggett has done with Fio's dessert and couldn't be happier to offer it to our patrons."
