If you were hoping to snag a seat at the Dining Under the Stars underground dinners by Demitasse Underground Restaurant in Forest Park this month but couldn’t get in a reservation before they sold out, there’s now a second chance.

The chefs/organizers from the six-night pop-up dinner affair, Sandy Tally and Marie Jary, tell us that there have been some cancellations and seats have opened for the evenings of Thu., June 21 and Sat., June 23. The dinner costs $125 per person, including wine pairings, and proceeds benefit Forest Park Forever. Email demitasseunderground@gmail.com for reservations.

The dinner site is about 50 feet behind the statue of Franz Sigel at the intersection of Grand and Union.

Check out the menu and photos at left, plus photos of the build-out on Demitasse’s Facebook page.
