Eleven local and national craft breweries are on board for Copia Restaurant & Wine Garden’s Beer & BBQ tasting on Thu., Sept. 13, in the wine garden.

The event will feature live music and St. Louis style barbecue from Copia’s award-winning chef Dave Rook. Tastings are unlimited, and admission is $37 in advance or $47 at the door. The event will begin at 7pm and will go until the beer runs out. Guests can call Copia at 314.241.9463 for advanced tickets.

Each brewer will have representatives on hand pouring and chatting about their beers. At the end of the evening, many of the beers sampled will be available for purchase in bottles or by the case.

  • 4 Hands Brewing Co.
  • Six Row Brewing Co.
  • Ferguson Brewing Company
  • Perennial Artisan Ales
  • Urban Chestnut Brewing Company

Out-of-state craft brewers:

  • Abita Ales, Louisiana
  • Deschutes Brewery, Bend, Ore.
  • Founders Brewing Co., Grand Rapids, Mich.
  • Goose Island, Chicago
  • Tallgrass Brewing Company, Manhattan, Kan.

Beer & BBQ comes on the heels of a successful second year of the Sommelier Showdown, for which Copia partnered with Randall’s Wine & Spirits to pit two local advanced sommeliers in a three-course dinner and wine pairing competition in August.
