This summer, Brick House Tavern and Tap is adding local craft beers, local bands and new menu items to its offerings.

Kraftig, Kraftig Light and Schlafly Seasonal will join the Chesterfield restaurant's list of more than 70 domestic and imported beers, and local bands will perform on the patio from 9pm to midnight Saturday and 2 to 6pm Sunday.

A wide range of new menu items, specially created for the summer, also will be available. New daily specials feature “the best of our chef-inspired menu,” says Robin Ahearn, chief marketing officer. They include:

  • Tuesday: Seared Halibut, finished with lemon thyme butter over fresh haricot verts and russet thyme sweet potato hash
  • Thursday: The Sourdough Pastrami Sandwich, featuring sourdough bread with deli-sliced pastrami, topped with a fried egg and served with skin-on fries
  • Saturday: The House Roasted Turkey, carved turkey with chicken gravy over Texas toast, corn bread stuffing cakes and apple cranberry sauce
  • Sunday: 12-ounce slow-marinated USDA Grilled Ribeye served with grilled local corn and a loaded spud
